The most important thing with fitness is to enjoy it.
One of the best ways to enjoy it is to have some variety with what you do. Try things that you have never done before or break up your weekly routine so you are not doing the same things all the time.
In Fitness Tips we will bring you fresh ideas on the many different aspects of fitness so you can enjoy what you do as much as possible. Jane Scott is a Fitness Coach from Cambridge and has contributed some great advice for us all in some of the articles below. Jane's details are listed below and please contact her directly if you want some one on one advice on anything fitness related.

Jane Scott - Fitness Coach
Hi, I’m Jane Scott. I set up my business, @tone Fitness Efficiency, after having children, a change from my previous career as a phys-ed teacher.
I’m a 43-year-old wife and mum of two young boys, based in Cambridge, New Zealand.
Originally from the UK, I was a university and county rep in athletics, cross-country and hockey. I have a degree in sports science, a teaching certificate as well as various coaching qualifications.
I taught PE for over ten years in England and New Zealand, and have maintained a love of sport and fitness throughout my life.
After having children, I began competing in short triathlons as a way of regaining my fitness, needing a personal challenge. This led me on to discovering multi-sport, biking, off-road running and kayaking.
A highlight for me was learning to paddle grade two ‘white water’ well enough to tackle the Coast to Coast race in a team with my husband Graham in 2005.
I work with groups and individuals, through goal setting, training schedules and event selection.
My passion is helping women who want to improve their fitness, whether it be entering their first 5km walk or having a crack at something bigger!
